About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Freelance WordPress Developer with 5 years of hands-on experience in developing maintaining and troubleshooting WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling website development server-related tasks technical issues and ongoing maintenance as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop customize and maintain WordPress websites.
Handle WordPress installation hosting server setup and website migration.
Manage website updates plugin and theme compatibility and performance optimization.
Set up staging settings and manage website deployment.
Integrate contact forms third-party APIs and other required functionalities.
Troubleshoot website issues including downtime hacked websites failed updates and plugin conflicts.
Ensure website security responsiveness speed and cross-browser compatibility.
Perform regular backups and implement website recovery solutions.
Coordinate with the internal team to understand project requirements and deliver work within agreed timelines.
Required Skills
5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
Solid knowledge of WordPress CMS themes plugins and customizations.
Proficiency in PHP HTML CSS JavaScript and MySQL.
Experience with hosting platforms domain configuration DNS SSL and server management.
Knowledge of website migration staging deployment and backup management.
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and resolving website errors independently.
Understanding of website security performance optimization and SEO-friendly development practices.
Ability to manage tasks independently and provide timely updates on project progress.
Engagement Details
Freelance project-based engagement.
Work will be assigned as per business and project requirements.
