We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Deck Cadet to join our team. As a Deck Cadet, you will be involved in various seaman activities and will have the prospect to learn and grow in a maritime workplace. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the maritime industry and gain hands-on experience on board a vessel.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily operations of the deck department, including maintenance and safety checks.
Participate in drills and training exercises to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
Support the crew in navigation and watchkeeping duties as required.
Learn and adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on board.
Collaborate with experienced crew members to gain knowledge and skills relevant to maritime operations.

Required Skills:




Basic understanding of seaman activities and maritime operations.
Nursing skills and knowledge, particularly if holding a nursing qualification.
Familiarity with DHA regulations and standards.
Robust communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
