Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Install configure administer and maintain database environments.
Manage and support databases such as SAP HANA MaxDB MS SQL Server or MySQL.
Perform database upgrades patching and version migrations.
Monitor database performance availability capacity and health.
Perform data migration and database maintenance activities.
Manage database objects including tables indexes constraints and views.
Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.
Provide support for large and complex database landscapes.
Perform backup recovery and disaster recovery activities.
Support database security access management and user administration.
Work on incident problem and change management following ITIL processes.
Collaborate with application infrastructure and technical teams to resolve database-related issues.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.




Provide production support and participate in on-call activities when required.

Required Skills
5 years of experience in Database Administration.
Hands-on experience with at least one of:
SAP HANA
SAP MaxDB
Microsoft SQL Server
MySQL
Robust knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
Experience in database installation and configuration.
Experience with database upgrades and patching.
Hands-on experience with data migration.
Positive understanding of tables indexes constraints and views.
Experience supporting large database landscapes.
Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts.
Experience with ITIL Incident and Problem Management.
Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
