Description
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright automation, AWS cloud services, SQL / Postgres, and DevOps/CI-CD practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications by designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks and integrating them into contemporary DevOps pipelines
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
Create and execute automated test suites for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Validate application functionality across cloud-based environments hosted on AWS.
Perform database validation and data integrity testing using SQL Postgres
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
nalyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support defect resolution.
Participate in test planning, estimation,



and quality assurance strategy discussions.
Support performance, security, and non-functional testing initiatives where required.
Produce and maintain test documentation, automation reports, and quality metrics.
Required Skills
Automation Testing
Strong experience with Playwright automation framework.
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing.
Experience in automation framework design and implementation.
Cloud Technologies
Knowledge on AWS Services such as:
EC2
Lambda
S3
CloudWatch
API Gateway
ECS/EKS (preferred)
DevOps & CI/CD
Experience in working with:
Azure DevOps
Jenkins
GitHub Actions
GitLab CI/CD
Positive understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration and automated quality gates.
Version Control
Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
Preferred Skills

Experience with Microservices architecture.
Exposure to Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum settings.
Banking or Financial Services domain experience is an added advantage.
