As a Qualcomm Hardware Systems Engineer, you will design a complete framework or system that influences the shaping of state-of-the-art mobile, edge, auto, AR/VR, compute, IOT, wearable products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, software, testing teams, etc.) to identify hardware testing needs and integrate components into products or systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
2+ years of experience with hardware system design, system integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation software.
2+ years of experience with hardware system validation and measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools).
1+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Leverages Hardware Systems knowledge to design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, and/or electrical engineering applications.




Contributes to defining processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output, and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
Conducts specialized analyses (e.g., feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity, equipment) to establish operating data and specifications.
Develops system features and components to identify potential flaws or compliance issues and finds solutions.
Contributes to subsystem discussion of chipset design and develops and modifies schematics, design layouts, testing.
Collaborates with manufacturing POCs to fabricate hardware, conducts verification of subsystem or design, and ensures platform is compatible and supported by appropriate systems requirements.

Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions.
