Key Responsibilities
Manage quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process.
Conduct in-process, final, and pre-dispatch inspections of heavy engineering equipment.
Read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings, CAD models, technical drawings, and dimensional tolerances.
Verify manufactured components against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Coordinate with production, design, and engineering teams to resolve drawing-related quality issues.
Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and inspection reports.
Perform dimensional inspection and verify material specifications, welding quality, and testing requirements.
Coordinate customer inspections, third-party inspections, and quality audits.
Review Material Test Certificates (MTCs), test reports, and quality documentation.
Handle non-conformities, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable industry standards.
Approve final inspection reports and ensure quality clearance before dispatch.
