Core Responsibilities
Financial Reporting &
Statements: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and profit-and-loss (P&L;) reports.
General Ledger &
Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, record daily financial transactions, and reconcile bank or credit card statements.
Accounts Payable &
Receivable: Process vendor invoices, monitor customer collections, and manage payments.
Budgeting &
Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets, track financial forecasts, and report expense variances to management.
Tax &
Compliance: Compute taxes, prepare corporate or individual tax returns, and ensure adherence to GAAP or IFRS standards.
Audits: Gather documentation, support internal and external audits, and resolve financial discrepancies.
