Required Skills
1–4 years of experience in software testing, including hands-on automation experience.
Practical knowledge of Playwright for web application testing.
Basic to valuable proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Understanding of Playwright locators, assertions, hooks, fixtures, and test execution.
Knowledge of manual testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Basic understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM, and browser developer tools.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
Positive-to-Have Skills
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Familiarity with Selenium or Cypress.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to test reporting and automation framework maintenance.
