Job Title: Commi Chef – Continental

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Continental Commi Chef to assist in preparing and presenting high-quality continental dishes. The candidate should have basic knowledge of continental cuisine, food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing continental dishes, including pasta, pizza, soups, salads, sandwiches, grilled items, and sauces.
Prepare ingredients, vegetables, meats, seafood, and other food items according to recipes.
Perform mise en place before service.
Assist in preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and à la carte menu items.
Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
Maintain food quality, taste, freshness, and consistency.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Follow food safety, personal hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Store food items properly and monitor stock levels.




Minimize food wastage and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
Assist senior chefs during service and daily kitchen operations.

Requirements
Previous experience in a continental kitchen is preferred.
Basic knowledge of continental cooking methods and ingredients.
Knowledge of sauces, soups, pasta, grilled dishes, and salads.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
Positive teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
