Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Talend.
Develop ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, loading, and integration from multiple source systems.
Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.
Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL.
Develop and maintain reusable ETL components, job sequences, transformations, and workflows.
Perform data cleansing, data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Troubleshoot ETL job failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Optimize ETL job performance and improve data processing efficiency.
Work with data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration frameworks.
Support data migration, production deployments, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, QA teams, and other developers.
Prepare technical documentation, mapping documents,



and unit test cases.
Follow data governance, security, and development standards.

Required Skills
Solid hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
Practical experience with Talend Data Integration / Talend ETL.
Valuable knowledge of ETL design, development, and troubleshooting.
Solid SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and query optimization.
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration concepts.
Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of job scheduling, dependency management, and production support.
Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
