We are seeking a Senior DBA to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of our database environments-spanning on-premises and cloud platforms. This role requires solid database tuning skills, knowledge of cloud-based databases, and database architecture.

Key Responsibilities
Database Performance & Tuning
Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot slow queries, tune indexes/storage, manage resource allocation and query plans.
Cloud Database Administration
Manage cloud DB instances
Handle high availability, replication, failover, and disaster recovery in cloud environments.
Database Architecture & Design
Design scalable and secure database architectures.
Collaborate with architects and developers on schema, capacity planning, and system integration.
Security, Complaince Backup & Recovery
Implement access control, encryption, audits, and compliance measures.
Design and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
Documentation & Mentorship




Support & Operations
Participate in 24×7 on-call rotations, incident response, and performance monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
12+ years in enterprise DBA roles, including hands-on database tuning.
Solid proficiency in RDBMSs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
Experience with cloud databases and migration (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Deep understanding of architecture, replication, HA, and planning.
Knowledge of security, backup/recovery, compliance, and audits.
Excellent problem-solving and communication; leadership skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Certifications and Hands-on AWS, Azure, Oracle & Microsoft DB.
NoSQL and data warehouse experience.
Expert in tuning Database & Artitecture .
DevOps and CI/CD familiarity.
