Key Responsibilities:
Conduct product testing in accordance with IS 1293 and other relevant Indian standards.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used for electrical, mechanical, and thermal testing of plugs, sockets, and related electrical accessories.
Interpret test results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal use and BIS submissions.
Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure products meet all BIS compliance requirements.
Assist in the preparation and submission of documentation for BIS registration and renewals.
Participate in internal and external audits related to product certification and quality systems.
Ensure all testing procedures follow safety protocols and laboratory best practices.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment in accordance with NABL/BIS requirements.
Stay updated with the latest amendments and changes in IS 1293 and other related standards.
