We’re headquartered in Mumbai, with an office in Kochi.

The role

We’re looking for a hands-on finance skilled to lead our accounts department and report directly to the Promoter. You’ll own budgets, books, compliance and cash, and you’ll give leadership clear numbers to make decisions in a quick-moving, multi-project business.

What you’ll do
Build the annual budget and monthly forecasts, and prepare project-level budgets and P&Ls; for our lists, awards and events
Track actuals against budget and flag variances early
Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close, and produce monthly MIS for the Promoter
Manage cash flow, drive collections from partners and sponsors, and control vendor payments
Own GST, TDS, income tax and ROC filings, and coordinate statutory and tax audits




Set up internal controls and approval workflows, and improve our accounting systems
Support commercial negotiations with deal economics and pricing inputs
Guide the accounts team and manage auditors, banks and tax consultants

What we’re looking for
Chartered Accountant (CA); CMA or MBA Finance is a plus
5–8 years in finance and accounts, including at least 2 years leading a team
Experience reporting directly to a founder, promoter or MD
Proven ability to build budgets and MIS from scratch
Solid working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS and the Companies Act
Comfortable in a complex environment with many projects running at once
Advanced Excel, plus Tally, Zoho Books or an ERP
High integrity and discretion with confidential information
Experience in media, events, research or consulting is a plus
