We are looking for an experienced Polymer / Materials Engineer with Additive Manufacturing experience to work on an international project involving FGF (pellet-based) 3D printing for marine and subsea applications.

Key Responsibilities
Select and evaluate suitable polymer and composite materials for marine applications.
Evaluate materials such as PETG, PA, PP, PC, PPS, PEEK and carbon/glass-fiber reinforced polymers.
Assess material performance under seawater, UV, temperature, pressure, creep and fatigue conditions.
Evaluate suitability of materials for FGF/pellet extrusion 3D printing.
Study melt flow, extrusion temperature, interlayer adhesion, warpage and shrinkage.
Support structural performance evaluation for components subjected to up to 40 bar hydrostatic pressure.
Prepare material comparison, technical evaluation and recommendation reports.




Coordinate material testing and validation activities when required.

Required Skills:
Degree in Polymer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Valuable knowledge of thermoplastics and polymer composites.
Experience in Additive Manufacturing / FGF / pellet extrusion.
Knowledge of carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced polymers.
Understanding of polymer mechanical properties, creep, fatigue and environmental resistance.
Valuable analytical and technical documentation skills.

Preferred: Experience in marine, subsea, offshore, automotive or other demanding engineering applications will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
