Loom Crafts is hiring an experienced Purchase Manager to independently manage procurement for its Furniture Division.
Responsibilities
Plan material purchases with production and stores.
Source and develop suppliers for furniture raw materials, components, hardware and consumables.
Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Prepare and track purchase orders in Tally.
Follow up on deliveries and resolve quality, quantity and invoice discrepancies with the relevant teams.
Control purchase costs while maintaining required quality.
Develop alternative suppliers for critical materials.
Requirements
Preferably 5+ years of relevant purchasing experience, including furniture or closely related manufacturing.
Knowledge of furniture materials and supplier markets.
Hands-on experience with Tally and Excel.
Robust negotiation, planning and supplier follow-up skills.
