Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
Develop detailed cost estimates for medium and large size projects, utilizing historical data, vendor quotes, and industry benchmarks
Develop detailed cost estimates for proposals & projects at various stages
Assist in preparation of project budgets and forecasts
Review and analyze contractor bids and vendor proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness
Cost Control & Monitoring:
Establish and maintain Cost control system
Monitor project expenditures and compare them to the approved budget
Identify and investigate cost variances, and recommend corrective actions
Prepare regular cost reports (weekly, monthly) for project management and stakeholders, including Earned Value Analysis (EVA) reports
Identify and drive cost optimizations
Change Management:
Develop and maintain cost dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Perform cost trend analysis and forecasting.
Prepare cost-related presentations for project reviews.
Contract Administration:
Assist with contract negotiations and administration
Review and approve contractor invoices
Manage cost-related aspects of subcontracts
Collaboration & Communication:
Communicate cost information effectively to all stakeholders




Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related updates
Work closely with project managers, project controls, procurement, and engineering teams
Best Practices & Standards:
Contribute to the development and improvement of lesson learnt and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure schedules comply with company standards and industry best practices
Prepare manuals, procedures and assist in the development & maintenance of cost databases and estimation tools
Mentor and support junior engineers
