Role & responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products as per drawings and quality plans.
Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to measure machined and fabricated components accurately.
Set up and fixture components, and create, edit, and run CMM inspection programs.
Select and qualify probes and styli, and perform routine machine verification checks.
Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments and gauges.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T; requirements.
Record inspection results, prepare inspection reports, and report non-conformities to Quality and Production teams.
Maintain the CMM, fixtures, and measuring instruments within calibration, and follow quality procedures and safety guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile
Skills: Engineering drawing reading, GD&T;, precision measurement, Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, gauges, CMM operation/programming, and inspection reports.
Preferred: Experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, defence, automotive, or CNC manufacturing.
