Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tailor to join our fashion design business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in garment cutting, stitching, fitting, alterations, and finishing, with the ability to deliver high-quality garments as per design specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Stitch garments according to designs, measurements, and customer requirements.
Perform fabric cutting, measurement taking, and pattern-based stitching.
Handle garment fitting, alterations, and finishing.
Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines as required.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of assigned work.
Handle different fabrics and maintain proper fabric utilization.
Coordinate with the designer or production team to achieve the desired garment finish.

Required Skills




Practical experience in tailoring, garment stitching, and alterations.
Knowledge of garment measurements, cutting, and fitting.
Ability to understand designs and stitching instructions.
Valuable finishing skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of different fabrics and sewing techniques.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Candidate Profile
Prior experience in a boutique, fashion designer studio, or garment manufacturing setup is preferred.
Skilled candidates with solid practical tailoring experience are encouraged to apply.
