What your role will entail
Teaching the Akanksha SST curriculum through effective pedagogical practices
Designing and delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics and Social Science
Designing assessments to evaluate conceptual understanding, critical thinking and student progress
Adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Encouraging students to ask questions, express perspectives and develop critical thinking
Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom setting
Building strong relationships with students, parents, community and the school team




Participating in professional development, school training, meetings, extra-curricular and celebratory activities
Making occasional community visits to stay connected with parents

Knowledge/Skills
Strong subject knowledge in Social Studies/Social Science
Good understanding of History, Geography and Civics
Ability to simplify concepts and make learning engaging and relatable
Adaptability to current instructional approaches
Strong planning, organisation and teamwork skills
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
