Audit daily hotel revenue generated from Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Events, Spa, Laundry, and other operating departments.
Verify daily revenue reports from the Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and other hotel operating systems.
Check room rates, room occupancy, room upgrades, discounts, complimentary rooms, and house-use rooms against approved policies.
Verify guest folios, invoices, city ledger postings, advance deposits, and billing adjustments.
Reconcile daily cash, credit card, UPI, online payment, and bank settlement reports.
Verify revenue collected through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), corporate accounts, travel agents, and other booking channels.
Audit restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service revenue against KOTs, BOTs, bills, and POS reports.
Check voids, cancellations, refunds, discounts, complimentary bills, and rebates for proper authorization.
Verify the accuracy of GST calculations, tax invoices, and applicable tax postings.
Reconcile revenue with the General Ledger and investigate discrepancies.
Review cashier reports, cash shortages, overages,



and cash handover records.
Verify night audit reports and ensure all daily revenue transactions are correctly posted.
Check no-shows, early check-ins, late check-outs, day-use rooms, and cancellation charges as per hotel policy.
Ensure that all revenue-generating departments follow established billing and revenue control procedures.
Prepare and circulate the Daily Revenue Report and other relevant MIS to the Finance Department and Management.
Maintain proper records of audit observations, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with Front Office, F&B;, Banquets, Reservations, Sales, and Accounts teams to resolve billing issues.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
Identify revenue leakages, irregularities, and potential fraud risks, and report them promptly to the Financial Controller.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and guest records.
