Qualifications

Required:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Overall, 4 to 6 + years of experience in BI reporting and data visualization.
Robust hands-on with at least 4 to 6 years’ experience on:
Tableau: dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, actions, extracts.
Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Cloud
Dashboard, worksheet, story, and workbook development
Actions: filter, highlight, URL, parameter, and set actions
Time-series analysis, forecasting, clustering, and trend lines
Permissions, projects, sites, schedules, and subscriptions
Charts, controls
SQL: joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, views, and query optimization.
Data modeling: dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, star schemas, and slowly changing dimensions.
Experience working with any relational database such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL.
Solid understanding of data quality, reporting governance, and performance tuning in Tableau.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to Tableau, GHE Copilot, Native AI offerings, Python, Data Bricks setting is a plus.

Work you’ll do
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.




Gather reporting requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
Design logical and physical data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
Build data relationships, calculated fields, measures, KPIs, and drill-through reports.
Develop Tableau datasets, semantic models, and Tableau data sources.
Implement data validation, reconciliation, security, and performance optimization.
Improve dashboard usability, load times, and report performance.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, business users, and technology teams.
Document data definitions, report logic, technical specifications, and support procedures.
Manage report deployments across development, test, and production environments.
Troubleshoot data, refresh, access, and visualization issues. Will work closely with Onsite Team to gather the requirements & develop on the above-mentioned technologies.
Provide directions to the team in terms of technical issues and the design challenges.
Provide updates to the group lead in USI on daily basis on the project, challenges, and risks on timely basis
