Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage the NPD process for machining-based products, including planning, design, prototype development, testing, and refinement.
Collaborate with design engineers, R&D;, and other stakeholders to ensure that recent products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Oversee the creation and validation of product design documents, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure that current products are manufactural, cost-effective, and scalable, working closely with production and supply chain teams.
Develops a project plan with transparent milestones and deadlines to ensure the product is delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate the development and testing of prototypes, including identifying and resolving design or production issues.
Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer feedback post-launch to evaluate the success of the product.
Ensures that the product complies with all necessary legal, regulatory, and industry standard
