Role & responsibilities
Plan, organize, and monitor daily Paint Shop operations.
Ensure proper execution of pretreatment, painting, curing, and finishing processes.
Supervise powder coating and liquid painting activities as per customer specifications.
Monitor paint thickness, adhesion, gloss level, and finish quality.
Identify and resolve painting defects such as orange peel, blistering, pinholes, peeling, runs, and color variation.
Control paint and consumable usage to minimize wastage and reduce costs.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
Maintain paint booths, curing ovens, compressors, and related equipment.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, process parameters, and work instructions.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
