Presidency PU College, Hebbal, is looking for a qualified and passionate English Lecturer to teach PU I and PU II students. Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Teach English to PU I and PU II students as per the Karnataka State PU Board syllabus.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
Teach English literature, grammar, and communication skills effectively.
Prepare students for board examinations through regular tests, revision sessions, and practice papers.
Monitor students' academic progress and provide additional support where required.
Maintain attendance records, academic reports, and other relevant documentation.
Use interactive teaching methods to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
Participate in academic meetings,



departmental activities, and college events.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: MA in English; B.Ed. preferred.
Relevant teaching experience in a PU College or higher secondary institution is desirable.
Freshers with solid subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.
Valuable command of spoken and written English.
Robust classroom management and student engagement skills.
Familiarity with the Karnataka State PU Board syllabus is preferred.
Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
