Role & responsibilities

Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.
Troubleshoot faults in AC units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers, and ventilation systems, as applicable.
Handle maintenance of split ACs, cassette ACs, ductable units, and package units.
Check refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, filters, thermostats, and electrical connections.
Monitor temperature, pressure, airflow, and system performance.
Attend breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution of HVAC complaints.
Clean filters, coils, drain lines, and other HVAC components.
Maintain daily maintenance logs, checklists, and breakdown reports.
Follow safety procedures while carrying out maintenance and repair work.
Coordinate with the facility manager, shift engineer, and other technicians.
Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure proper functioning of HVAC equipment.
