Role Description The Veterinary Doctor will provide comprehensive medical care for animals, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include administering vaccinations, performing minor procedures, prescribing medications, and monitoring recovery and overall animal health. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, advising pet owners or animal caretakers on preventive care and nutrition, and ensuring compliance with relevant veterinary standards and regulations. The Veterinary Doctor will collaborate with support staff to maintain a safe, hygienic clinical environment and may assist in emergency care when required. This is a full time, in office role based in Daund.
Qualifications
Recognized degree in Veterinary Science or Veterinary Medicine, with valid registration/license as per applicable veterinary council or regulatory authority.
Robust clinical skills in animal examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive care,



across common companion or farm animal species.
Knowledge of veterinary pharmacology, vaccination protocols, basic surgical procedures, and infection control practices.
Ability to maintain detailed medical records, interpret diagnostic test results, and follow evidence-based clinical guidelines.
Excellent communication and counseling skills to interact with animal owners and caretakers, explaining conditions, treatments, and follow-up care clearly.
Capacity to work collaboratively with clinic or hospital staff, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and respect toward colleagues and clients.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a busy clinical environment.
Willingness to work on-site in Marmagao and be available for occasional extended hours or emergency cases as needed.
Prior experience in a veterinary clinic, hospital, or animal care facility is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated and qualified candidates.
