Key Responsibilities
Perform engine testing on test beds/dynamometers as per defined test procedures.
Carry out engine installation, mounting, alignment and test-bed setup.
Monitor and record parameters such as RPM, torque, power, temperature, pressure, fuel consumption and emissions.
Perform performance, endurance and functional testing of engines.
Identify basic engine/test-bed abnormalities and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Handle measuring instruments, sensors and data acquisition systems (DAQ).
Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of test rigs and testing equipment.
Maintain test records, check sheets and test reports accurately.
Follow 5S, PPE and test-cell safety procedures.
Mandatory Skills
Hands-on experience in engine testing / engine test bed operations
Basic knowledge of IC engines and engine components
Experience with dynamometer/test rig operation
Understanding of engine performance parameters
Basic mechanical troubleshooting
Ability to use measuring instruments and testing equipment
Willingness to work in shop-floor/test-cell and shift settings
Preferred Candidate
ITI: Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Motor Mechanic Vehicle
OR
Diploma: Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
Ideal profile: Candidate with around 2 years of direct hands-on engine testing or engine test-bed experience in an automotive, engine manufacturing, R&D;, or validation workplace.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
