Quality Engineer Job Description – PEB
Job Purpose

To ensure that all PEB fabrication, welding, painting, inspection and erection activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, steel plates, rolled sections(HR and CR) and other materials as per approved specifications.
Verify fabrication activities, including cutting, drilling, fit-up, welding and assembly.
Conduct dimensional inspections of fabricated components as per approved shop sketch/ drawings.
Monitor welding quality, weld defects and compliance with approved welding procedures.
Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve quality issues.
Inspect surface preparation, shot blasting and painting activities, including DFT checks.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)



and corrective action records.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), QAPs and applicable standards.
Coordinate with third-party inspectors and client representatives during inspections.
Monitor quality during dispatch and, where required, site erection activities.
Ensure proper traceability of materials and maintain quality documentation.
Identify recurring defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
