Job Details

Hybrid QA Engineer
3 to 6 years in software QA, with a majority in functional and regression testing of business applications.
Strong Appium experience for native and hybrid mobile application testing across multiple devices and OS versions.
Strong programming ability in JavaScript.
Working knowledge of a web automation framework such as Playwright.
API testing skills using Postman, REST Assured or equivalent, including response validation and error handling.
Working SQL knowledge: able to write joins and aggregate queries independently to validate data behind the application
Version control with Git, and experience running automated tests through a CI tool such as Jenkins or CircleCI
Experience testing in Agile or Scrum with a defect tracking tool such as Jira.




Ability to work across multiple applications and switch between them as needed.
Hands-on automation exposure: able to read, run, debug, and extend existing automated tests, and write recent scripts with guidance.
Collaborative working style - raises problems early and shares knowledge.
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
Positive attitude and a good team player.
Good written communication for producing test evidence.

Preferred

Retail domain experience, particularly omnichannel order flows, POS or Pricing systems.

Experience building a framework from scratch or substantially refactoring one.

Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and a practical view of where they add value.
