Job Title: Finance Intern (Under Prime Minister Internship Scheme – PMIS)

About the Role:

Vedanta Foundation invites applications for the position of Finance Intern under the Government of India’s Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS). This internship offers practical exposure to finance and accounting functions, enabling candidates to develop real-world financial management skills in a skilled environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day finance and accounting activities
Support in maintaining financial records and documentation
Help in data entry of vouchers, invoices, and expenses
Assist in preparation of basic financial reports and statements
Support in bank reconciliation and tracking payments
Coordinate with internal teams for financial data and records
Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit purposes

Eligibility Criteria (As per PMIS):
Age between 18–25 years
Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of:
B.Com / BBA / BMS / BA (Economics) / or related field
Commerce background preferred




Must not be engaged in full time employment
Annual family income should be less than ₹12 LPA
Willingness to commit for 6 or 9 months

Stipend & Benefits:
₹9,000 per month stipend
₹6,000 one-time joining grant (in two installments via DBT)

Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Familiarity with MS Excel and financial data handling
