Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals within a designated geographical area. The ASM will drive sales growth, achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and ensure effective distribution of products. This role requires a robust leader with excellent sales acumen, a proven track record of success in sales management, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives for the assigned area.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing regular coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure their continuous development and success.
Set transparent sales targets and KPIs for the team, monitor individual and team performance, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and penetrate current markets within the designated territory.
Build and maintain solid,

Conduct regular market analysis, competitor intelligence, and consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Manage sales budgets, control expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation to maximize profitability.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback for senior management.
Conduct regular field visits with sales team members to support sales activities, address customer concerns, and provide on-the-job coaching.
Oversee the effective implementation of promotional activities and marketing campaigns within the area.
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
