About the Role

Rapid Media Communication is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Camera Assistant to join our production team. Whether you are a motivated fresher eager to break into the media industry or an experienced assistant looking for steady work, we welcome your application.

This role involves supporting the lead camera operator/cinematographer on shoots, managing equipment, and ensuring smooth technical operations on set.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the main cinematographer/camera operator during indoor and outdoor shoots.
Set up, assemble, calibrate, and break down cameras, tripods, lenses, lights, and audio accessories.
Handle lens changes, battery management, memory cards, and routine equipment maintenance.
Ensure all camera gear is protected, cleaned, packed, and accounted for before and after production schedules.
Support basic on-set lighting and framing setups as directed.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Open to both freshers and experienced candidates.



Hands-on passion for cameras and video production is essential.
Basic understanding of DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema camera setups (e.g., Sony, Canon, or similar).
Willingness to travel to shoot locations and work on adaptable production schedules.
Physically fit and active, comfortable handling equipment on active sets.
Punctual, collaborative, and quick to learn on the job.
