Job Description – Executive (Greige) – Fabric Procurement

Department: Procurement & Sourcing – Production and Planning
Location: Factory Office at Kalher (6 kms from Kapurwadi, Thane)
Reporting To: Sr Greige Manager – Fabric Procurement

Job Purpose

To manage greige fabric procurement and coordination, including order follow-ups, production planning, quality checks, and vendor communication. The role supports the sourcing cycle from yarn to greige fabric, ensuring timely delivery, quality adherence, and resolution of technical issues related to yarn and weaving.

Greige Fabric Coordination

Follow-up on greige fabric orders, production planning, and control.

Yarn & Weaving Knowledge

Understand yarn quality, defects, and weaving-related issues.

Issue Resolution

Resolve greige-related concerns arising from yarn or weaving processes.

Inspection & Dispatch

Conduct greige fabric inspections and manage dispatches.

Team Collaboration

Coordinate with internal teams and visit weavers / plants as required.





Meeting Facilitation

Arrange and lead meetings for procurement and production alignment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Textile Graduate – B.Tech in Textile Technology or Diploma

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in greige fabric procurement or production planning

· Salary: As per industry standards

· Solid interpersonal and leadership skills

· Outstanding communication (written and verbal)

· Proficient in computer applications

· Ability to manage work remotely and extend working hours when needed

Required Experience & Skills

· Knowledge of weaving quality, defects, and basic fabric processing

· Team handling and adherence to SOPs

· Technical problem solving capabilities

· Coordination with vendors and internal teams

· Willingness to travel and conduct plant visits

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
