Job Description: QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case preparation, bug reporting, and automation testing fundamentals to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Identify, document, track, and report bugs using bug-tracking tools.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts.
Work with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality before release.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other team members.




Maintain test documentation and share testing reports.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills
1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
Robust knowledge of manual testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
Basic knowledge of automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
Basic understanding of SQL and database testing is an advantage.
Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Experience testing responsive websites and mobile applications.
Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
