Software Expertise: SolidWorks & AutoCAD

Experience Required: 2 to 3 Years

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Industry: Sheet Metal Fabrication / Railway fabrication parts/ Defence ammunition boxes.

/ Lithium battery Box Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Sheet metal parts/ boxes Design: Create 3D models and 2D layouts for sheet metal boxes.

Assembly Design: Develop complex Solid Works assemblies with strict part-to-part tolerances.

Tooling & Fixtures: Design custom jigs and fixtures to assist shop floor welding and assembly.

Process Engineering: Outline step-by-step manufacturing process designs for smooth production.

Quality Compliance: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) to all fabrication drawings.

Technical & Machine Operations :

Nesting Optimization: Run 3D nesting layouts to maximize sheet utilization.

Material Management: Track, allocate, and manage raw sheet metal inventory for laser and lasermachine loading/production plan.





Operations.Laser Programming: Generate accurate cut programs for CNC laser cutting machines.

Bending Planning: Set up bending sequences and calculate correct sheet metal bend allowances.

Shopfloor Excellence: Implement 5S workplace standards and use structured problem-solving on the line.

Computer & Communication Skills

Documentation: Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and track project data in MS Excel.

Reporting: Build clean technical review presentations using MS PowerPoint.

Coordination: Handle regular email communication with production teams, vendors, and clients.
