About the Position

PFRC is looking for a Clinical Embryologist with 2–3 years of hands-on IVF laboratory experience. The selected candidate will initially work under the guidance of the Senior Embryologist to become familiar with PFRC’s protocols and laboratory systems. Following satisfactory competency assessment, the candidate will be expected to perform routine embryology procedures independently and provide laboratory cover when the Senior Embryologist is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

· Semen analysis and sperm preparation for IUI/IVF/ICSI

· Oocyte identification, handling and denudation; ICSI; fertilization assessment

· Embryo culture, assessment and grading; embryo-transfer loading

· Oocyte and embryo vitrification and warming; sperm freezing and thawing

· Cryostorage management and inventory

· Patient/sample identification, witnessing and traceability

· Routine IVF laboratory QC, equipment monitoring and documentation





· Maintain accurate laboratory records and follow established SOPs

· Coordinate with the clinical and embryology teams for OPU, IVF/ICSI, embryo transfer and cryopreservation procedures

Qualification and Experience

· M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology / M.Sc. in Embryology

· 2–3 years of hands-on experience in an IVF/ART laboratory

· Hands-on experience in ICSI, embryo culture, vitrification and warming is essential

· Knowledge of IVF laboratory quality control, documentation and ART regulatory requirements
