Job Summary

Orion Group of Hotels is looking for a skilled and dedicated Commi 2 – North Indian Cuisine to join our kitchen team in Delhi. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens, with positive knowledge of North Indian food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the senior chefs in preparing North Indian dishes, gravies, curries, dals, breads, and other regional specialties.
Prepare and arrange ingredients through cutting, chopping, marination, and mise en place.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
Follow standard recipes and instructions provided by the Chef de Partie and senior chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Ensure proper storage, labelling,



and rotation of food ingredients.
Monitor food stock and inform senior chefs about shortages or wastage.
Follow kitchen safety procedures and ensure proper use of kitchen equipment.
Support smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
Minimize food wastage and maintain quality standards.

Candidate Requirements
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in North Indian cuisine.
Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
Positive knowledge of North Indian cooking methods, spices, gravies, and traditional dishes.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen setting.
Good teamwork, discipline, and time-management skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
