Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect

Job Description:

Carrier is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to define and govern cloud architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure, ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Define reusable cloud architectures, design patterns, and governance standards.
Lead architecture reviews focused on security, reliability, and cost optimization.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and CI/CD practices.
Collaborate with Security, FinOps, Enterprise Architecture, and product teams.
Establish cloud security, observability, and operational best practices.
Mentor engineers and drive cloud architecture standards across teams.

Required Skills:




10+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering, including 6+ years in cloud architecture.
Robust AWS and/or GCP expertise; Azure exposure is beneficial.
Hands-on experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, GitHub, IAM, encryption, and policy-as-code.
Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions and reusable architecture patterns.

Preferred: Multi-cloud architecture, FinOps, AWS Control Tower, GCP Organization Policies, and skilled cloud certifications.
