Job Title: Staff Nurse
Department: Nursing Department
Reports To: Nursing Superintendent / Nursing In-charge / Ward In-charge

Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patients' health conditions, and assisting doctors with treatment and clinical procedures while maintaining patient safety and hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients according to established protocols.
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and oxygen saturation.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and treatment documentation.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
Observe patients' conditions and promptly report changes to the treating physician.
Maintain infection prevention, control, and biomedical waste management practices.
Ensure proper care and handling of medical equipment.
Educate patients and their relatives regarding treatment, medication, and discharge instructions.
Maintain patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and safety.
Follow hospital policies,



nursing protocols, and quality standards.
Participate in shift handovers, patient transfers, and emergency management.

Qualifications
GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
Previous hospital experience is preferred; freshers may also be considered depending on hospital requirements.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.

Working Conditions
Rotational shifts, including night shifts, as required.
Compliance with hospital rules, attendance policies, and qualified standards.

Performance Expectations: Secure and compassionate patient care, accurate documentation, timely medication administration, infection control compliance, and effective coordination with the healthcare team.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
