Job Description

Pillbox Pharmacy is looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our team .The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of medicines, prescription handling, patient care, and pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
Dispense medicines accurately according to valid prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions, dosage instructions, and potential medication interactions.
Provide appropriate guidance to customers regarding medication usage, dosage, storage, and precautions.
Maintain proper stock levels and monitor medicine expiry dates.
Ensure medicines are stored under appropriate conditions.
Manage inventory, stock rotation, and medicine replenishment.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and controlled medicines, where applicable.
Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
Handle customer queries professionally and provide excellent customer service.
Coordinate with the purchase and inventory teams to ensure the availability of essential medicines.
Monitor expired, damaged,



and near-expiry products and follow the company’s procedures for handling them.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper documentation within the pharmacy.

Requirements
Relevant pharmacy qualification, such as D.Pharm or B.Pharm.
Valid registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council, as required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
Positive knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and pharmacy operations.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy billing or inventory software.
Valuable attention to detail, responsibility, and organisational skills.
Willingness to work on a shift-based schedule.
