About the role

We are a private household of two looking for a professionally trained chef to cook dinner six days a week. The role takes about 3 hours a day and pays above full-time restaurant rates for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Plan a weekly dinner menu across international cuisines (Italian, Pan-Asian, Mediterranean, Continental). Most dishes will be non-vegetarian.
Share ingredient lists in advance; the household buys all groceries.
Cook and plate dinner in our kitchen.
Maintain strict kitchen hygiene: correct storage of meat and seafood, raw and cooked food kept separate, and the kitchen left clean after every shift.

Requirements
5+ years in 5-star hotel kitchens (Chef de Partie or Sous Chef level), or as a private chef in a high-end residence
Robust command of international cuisines and plating
Verifiable references from previous employers
Punctual and reliable

Schedule
6 days a week,



6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Weekly off: one day per week, agreed a week in advance

Hiring process
Phone screen, then an in-person interview
Paid trial of 3 dinners, with dishes chosen by us
Before joining, all of these are mandatory: police verification, a skilled background check, and a medical fitness check
