Job Description – Solar Design Engineer

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Salary Budget: ₹7–8 LPA

Job Summary

We are looking for a Solar Design Engineer with hands-on experience in solar PV system design, electrical engineering, and project execution for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

-Design solar PV systems, including rooftop and ground-mounted projects.

-Prepare SLDs, layouts, string diagrams, and electrical drawings.

-Perform PVsyst simulations, generation estimates, and shadow analysis.

-Handle DC/AC cable sizing, inverter sizing, earthing, and protection calculations.

-Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.

-Coordinate with project execution, procurement, and commissioning teams.





-Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and DISCOM requirements.

Required Skills

-Proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD.

-Solid knowledge of solar PV system design and electrical calculations.

-Experience in SLDs, BOQ preparation, and layout design.

-Knowledge of solar modules, inverters, grid connectivity, and net metering.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in C&I; rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects and end-to-end solar design engineering will be preferred.

Pay: ₹58,000.00 - ₹66,000.00 per month
