Role & responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts for clients: bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny and month-end closing in Tally
Finalise accounts and prepare financial statements for individuals, firms and companies
Handle GST compliance end-to-end: monthly/quarterly returns, reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books), annual returns and refund applications
Prepare and file Income Tax returns, along with TDS returns and related compliances
Draft replies to notices, scrutiny assessments and show cause notices under Income Tax and GST
Work on litigation matters, including appeals before CIT(A) and GST appellate authorities, under senior guidance
Represent clients and accompany partners for hearings and meetings with Income Tax and GST officers
Assist in tax audits, statutory audits and other assurance assignments
Coordinate with clients for documents and ensure timely compliance

Preferred candidate profile
Minimum qualification: B.Com (M.Com, CA Inter, or those pursuing CA/CMA are welcome)




Relevant work experience in accounting/taxation is required; freshers will not be considered
Preference for candidates with experience in a CA office
Working knowledge of accounting, GST, Income Tax and TDS; hands-on with Tally and government portals
Positive drafting skills and a keen interest in litigation and representation work

Salary: Rs.3.0 Lakhs – Rs.4.2 lakh per annum (Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month), including an annual Diwali bonus, based on experience and skills
