Job Summary

MM Resort is looking for an experienced and well-organised Banquet Manager to oversee banquet operations, events, parties, weddings, and corporate functions. The candidate should have solid event management, team coordination, and customer-handling skills to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Manage banquet operations for weddings, parties, corporate events, and other functions.
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, preferences, and budgets.
Handle event bookings, venue arrangements, and banquet scheduling.
Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, service staff, and other departments.
Supervise banquet staff and ensure professional service during events.
Monitor food and beverage service, decoration, seating arrangements, and event setup.
Ensure timely execution of events and resolve guest concerns promptly.
Maintain event records, bookings, client details, and operational reports.
Coordinate with the sales team to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and adherence to hospitality standards.




Manage event-related expenses and ensure efficient use of resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in banquet operations, hotels, resorts, or event management.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.
Good knowledge of banquet setup, event planning, and hospitality operations.
Ability to manage teams and handle multiple events efficiently.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Adaptable to work on weekends, holidays, and during events as required.
