About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of professional experience and a solid understanding of creating engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, and EdTech platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Edit high-quality long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
Add transitions, text, subtitles, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
Maintain strong storytelling, pacing, visual flow, and audience engagement.
Repurpose long-form content into engaging Reels and Shorts.
Collaborate with the content and creative teams to understand video requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos as per project timelines.
Keep up with current social media trends, editing styles, and content formats.

Requirements




3–7 years of qualified experience in video editing.
Candidates with prior EdTech industry experience will be preferred.
Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, or Shorts is preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.
Positive understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual sense.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Portfolio/Showreel is required.
