Job Description: Flash Butt Welding Machine Site Supervisor

Industry: Railway Track Welding Projects

Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily flash butt welding machine operations at railway project sites.
Manage machine operators, helpers, electricians, and other assigned staff.
Ensure welding work is carried out as per approved railway procedures and applicable RDSO specifications.
Monitor machine performance, welding quality, rail alignment, and production targets.
Coordinate with railway officials, project engineers, and the site manager.
Maintain daily welding records, machine logs, attendance, and progress reports.
Ensure machine maintenance, timely breakdown reporting, and availability of tools and spare parts.
Enforce railway safety rules, PPE usage, and protected working practices.
Monitor diesel, consumables, and other materials used at the site.




Report daily work progress, technical issues, and manpower requirements to management.

Required Qualifications
12th pass, ITI, Diploma, or equivalent relevant qualification preferred.
Experience in railway projects, flash butt welding machines, or track maintenance preferred.
Positive supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work at railway project sites and travel as required.

Main Objective: To ensure protected machine operation, quality rail welding, effective manpower supervision, and timely completion of assigned site work.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
