Role Description The Account Officer is a full time, on-site role based at the Lh Sugar Factory Distillery Unit in Bareilly. The role involves managing daily accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, preparing and updating ledgers, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports. The Account Officer will monitor receivables and payables, support budget tracking, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of payments. The position includes handling routine customer and vendor queries related to accounts, ensuring clear communication and maintaining organized records for internal audits and compliance.



The Account Officer will also support month-end and year-end closing processes and contribute to improving accounting workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust Finance knowledge and the ability to prepare and interpret Financial Statements.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess effective Customer Service capabilities to handle vendor and client account-related queries professionally.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant work experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is an advantage.
Understanding of basic tax regulations, invoicing procedures, and internal control practices.
Ability to work in office in Bareilly, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
