Role & responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing for web and enterprise applications.
Design and implement API automation frameworks using Rest Assured and Postman.
Validate application data through SQL and MongoDB database testing.
Integrate automation suites with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum setting to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and defect tracking documentation.
Track, analyze, and report defects using JIRA and Zephyr.
Perform performance testing and analyze application stability and scalability.
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and testing processes.
Support release validation, smoke testing, and production deployment activities.
Provide regular test status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders.
