Role Description The Captain at The North Kitchen 26 oversees daily floor operations, ensuring guests receive timely, courteous, and efficient service. This full time, on-site role in the Pune District includes coordinating table assignments, supervising service staff, and communicating guest needs to the kitchen. The Captain greets guests, explains menu items, manages reservations and waitlists, and addresses service concerns in a calm and solution-focused manner. The role involves monitoring service quality, supporting staff training, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and assisting with billing and cash handling procedures.



The Captain also collaborates with management to implement service improvements and uphold the venue’s hospitality standards.

Qualifications
Strong restaurant floor management skills, including team coordination, table supervision, and guest flow management.
Excellent customer service abilities, with a focus on guest engagement, conflict resolution, and professional communication.
Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu presentation, and basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
Competence with reservation systems, billing processes, and basic cash and record handling.
Prior experience in a Captain, Head Waitstaff, or similar supervisory role in hospitality is highly beneficial.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a rapid-paced on-site workplace.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to leading service teams.
Relevant hospitality training or certification is an advantage; local language proficiency and valuable spoken English are beneficial.
