Role Description The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with a range of disabilities, primarily at the middle school level, in an inclusive and supportive setting. This full-time, on-site role is based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and involves planning and implementing IEPs, adapting curriculum and classroom materials, and using differentiated instructional strategies to meet each learner’s needs. Daily responsibilities include assessing student progress, maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with therapists and general education teachers, and communicating regularly with families and caregivers.



The teacher will also promote positive behavior, foster social-emotional development, and ensure a secure, respectful learning setting that aligns with organizational policies and educational regulations.

Qualifications
Solid knowledge of Special Education practices and experience working with learners with Disabilities.
Demonstrated Teaching skills with middle school–age students, including classroom management and lesson planning.
Ability to design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual needs in Special Education settings.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field (relevant certifications preferred).
Experience developing and implementing IEPs or similar individualized learning plans.
Familiarity with inclusive education principles, behavior support strategies, and progress monitoring tools.
Commitment to professional ethics, cultural sensitivity, and continuous professional development.
